Robert Benowitz is an accomplished business attorney.  Throughout his career he has represented public and private corporations, senior executives, entrepreneurial enterprises and health care providers on a wide range of legal matters.  His principal practice area is general corporate and securities law.  Additionally, he has extensive experience representing clients in connection with SEC enforcement matters, securities industry related arbitrations and compliance with SEC regulatory and corporate governance issues.

Mr. Benowitz's practice covers a broad spectrum of transactional work including mergers and acquisitions, the formation and financing of new ventures, including e-commerce and technology, joint ventures and other strategic alliances, as well as license , distribution, outsourcing and marketing arrangements.  He also has substantial experience developing and negotiating employment severance and non-competition agreements for senior executives and health care professionals.

Previously Mr. Benowitz served as an attorney with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission in the Division of Corporate Finance and the Division of Enforcement.
